What We Don’t Do
Psychological services for clinical disorders like depression, generalized anxiety disorder, phobias, etc. Mentorship isn’t coaching or therapy. Psychology focuses on trying to challenge thoughts and thought patterns whereas mindfulness challenges our relationship with those thoughts. Therefore mindfulness mentorship can help recognise and use the barriers that arise in one’s practice, to work through them towards that person’s liberation; it is a vessel through which the mentor helps guide the student towards finding their own truth. The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) is not available here as it is based on a strict protocol. Instead we offer custom-made programs based on the latest scientific research, specifically designed to not only respect the roots of the practice’s originating tradition on a personal, relational and collective level, but also accommodate people from all socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
